a cold winter’s day.
PHOTOGRAPHY: BLUE 2
This photo is so soothing.
Blue 2 ( triptych 1-2 ) from my series “into the Blue.”
Just out in the June issue of Architectural Digest- a very nice surprise to see my work featured in this article about Aerin Lauder’s new office! All I can say is “Thank You, Aerin!”

From my Big Blooms series that I am currently working on.
This seems to be a good place to start- after graduating from RIT I assisted fashion photographer, Rico Puhlmann for a year and a half before opening my own studio in NYC. I was fortunate to be able to travel all over the world with him for Bazaar and Glamour, introducing me to all of the editors and creative people who were very supportive of me when I decided to take the leap at 25 and set out on my own.
Many years later here I am again having spent nearly every day of my life since the first photo behind the lens of a camera.
All of the work I will post is original content, some of it new, some of it old, much of it never seen before. My son, Christopher, is a Junior in the School of Art and Design at Alfred University and I was invited to lecture there about my work last Spring, and then again at the Annenberg Space for Photography in LA in July, in conjunction with the Beauty Culture exhibit that I was part of. As a result I began to scan my massive film archive last March, a seemingly endless, but joyous project. It is a constant revelation!
